In May 2011 Niklas Östberg (the guy with the pizza) founded Delivery Hero and began his journey of building a leading global business in online food ordering. His founding team, completed by members of Team Europe, shared decades of knowledge of working with internet companies. Just as importantly, they shared a vision for the future of online food ordering. Together with a hand-picked, passionate team they managed to truly catapult the business to where it is today.

Delivery Hero and its headquarters are located in Berlin, boasting over 1,000 employees in HQ alone. Diversity is a key pillar for our success. Employees with over 80 nationalities across 5 continents work for us, enabling us to exchange best practice from markets from each corner of the world.
