Job Description Summary
The Data Protection Specialist supports the organization’s data protection and privacy activities, helping to ensure personal data is handled in line with applicable laws and internal policies. The role acts as a subject matter expert on privacy regulation, risk management, and data governance, working closely with legal, IT, security, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assist with monitoring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) under guidance from senior team members.
- Help coordinate and document responses to data subject rights requests (e.g., access, correction, deletion).
- Help track and document personal data incidents and support investigations where required.
- Contribute to privacy awareness activities and training materials.
- Maintain data protection documentation, templates, and reporting.
- Liaise with internal teams to collect information related to data processing activities.
- Stay informed about basic developments in data protection and privacy best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing studies) in Law, Business, IT, Information Security, Compliance, or a related field.
- Fluent in Polish and English other Eastern-European languages are an advantage (Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek).
- General understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
- Willingness to learn regulatory requirements and apply them in a practical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role and/or including/related to: project management office, CRM management, data analysis, managing contract templates; drafting, negotiating and advising on contracting matters related to privacy.
- Experience in medical devices service / sales; medical product development; clinical trials.
- Good knowledge of the EU legal framework in the area of data protection and cybersecurity.

Pay Range
For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range: 137,680.00PLN-189,310.00PLN. Placement within this range depends on: Relevant skills and qualifications, Prior job-related experience, Internal equity considerations (alignment with colleagues in similar roles) e.t.c.
