Software Engineer 3

Cencora seeks an experienced Software Engineer 3 to join a new Poland-based engineering team building secure software for pharmaceutical Trial Master File systems. The role emphasizes solving complex technical problems, establishing engineering standards, and responsibly integrating AI-assisted development tools in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Fix bugs and issues across familiar and unfamiliar codebases
• Design and build incremental features independently, collaborate on larger solutions
• Diagnose and resolve complex coding issues including race conditions and data problems
• Ensure quality, maintainability, security, and performance of delivered code
• Champion best practices for AI-augmented development across the engineering team

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft .NET, C#, and Visual Studio
• Database experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or MySQL
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, dependency injection, and unit testing
• Experience with React, Angular, or comparable modern UI frameworks
• Exposure to Azure or cloud PaaS services and containerization technologies
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development tools in regulated settings
