About the role

Digital Factory Operations is responsible for delivering and maintaining a portfolio of digital solutions supporting business processes across the organization. The team works in an Agile environment and focuses on building scalable, reliable and user-centric applications.

Join Digital Factory Operations and become part of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and maintaining business applications supporting digital operations within the ERGO Group. As a Software Engineer, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters and other engineers. You will design, build and enhance modern cloud-based applications that deliver measurable business value.

How you will get the job done

• designing, developing and maintaining web applications and APIs
• implementing new business requirements and improving existing solutions
• participating in architecture and technical design discussions
• collaborating with business stakeholders and international teams
• ensuring software quality through testing and code reviews
• supporting CI/CD processes and application deployments
• contributing to continuous improvement of development standards and practices

Skills and experience you will need

• experience in software development using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• experience with React.js and Node.js
• knowledge of REST APIs and microservice architecture
• experience with Git version control
• understanding of software development best practices
• good communication skills in English

Nice to have

• experience with AWS cloud services
• experience with CI/CD pipelines
• knowledge of containerization technologies
• experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• understanding of software architecture and design patterns
