IT Project Manager - ML/AI Automation Initiative

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on automation and the application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The role will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including establishing project governance, planning and delivering the MVP, coordinating internal and external resources, and managing dependencies across related transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Finance, Business Solutions, SAP, PMO and external technology partners to ensure successful delivery of the project.

YOU WILL

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the ML/AI Automation Initiative.
• Establish project governance, PMO controls, sprint cadence, RAID management and status reporting.
• Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, MVP roadmap, milestones, dependencies and resource plan.
• Coordinate external technology partners and SAP-related technical readiness activities.
• Facilitate project kick-off meetings, sprint planning, steering committees and executive reviews.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Business Solutions, SAP, PMO and external partners.
• Drive the delivery of the MVP and pilot implementation according to agreed scope and success criteria.
• Ensure alignment with the target architecture, data model and integration decisions.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, issues and escalations.
• Coordinate testing, business validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain project documentation across relevant project management and collaboration tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Prepare executive project updates, presentations and materials supporting leadership decisions.
• Support resource planning, budget tracking and vendor management.
• Drive change management and adoption activities where required.
• Ensure adherence to established project governance, security and IT delivery standards

YOU NEED

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering complex technology or transformation projects.
• Experience managing AI, Machine Learning, automation or data-driven initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SAP-related projects and technology transformation environments.
• Experience working with external technology vendors and implementation partners.
• Hands-on experience with Agile / SAFe methodologies and project delivery in a complex, matrix organisation.
• Strong expertise in project governance, planning, RAID management, risk and dependency management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, teams and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business messages.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence and project portfolio management platforms.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong ownership, structured approach and ability to drive delivery in a complex and changing environment
