DataHub Specialist (NeoXam)

Responsibilities

Contribute to DataHub migration and rehosting initiatives , including lift‑and‑shift, cloud deployment, and workflow configuration.

Model, analyse, and document data structures, metadata relationships, and lineage within DataHub.

Configure and maintain DataHub workflows, connectors, and metadata assets .

Develop and customise DataHub components using Java and Python .

Operate and troubleshoot the DataHub platform on Linux servers , including logs, services, and deployment scripts.

Data Governance & Metadata Management

• Define, configure, and maintain governance artefacts such as: data domains, data dictionaries, business glossaries, lineage mappings, classification & stewardship models
• Work with data producers and consumers to establish and enforce data quality rules , metadata standards, and governance controls.
• Support impact assessments, remediation planning, and governance alignment throughout the DataHub lifecycle.
• Maintain governed metadata within Collibra, ensuring alignment with DataHub technical metadata.
• Support lineage visualisation, stewardship models, issue workflows, and governance processes.
• Assist in integrating Collibra with technical metadata sources via APIs, scanners, loaders, or automated pipelines .
• Provide structured onboarding, training, and documentation for new team members and stakeholders.

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Alignment

• Partner with Product, IT, Platform, and Governance teams to ensure consistent standards across systems.
• Support projects by assessing impacts, identifying risks, and ensuring governance compliance.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible governance artefacts .

Required Skills & Experience

• Practical hands-on experience with NeoXam DataHub (workflows, metadata, administration, connectors).
• Strong understanding of data modelling , data structures, and metadata‑driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra (catalog, governance workflows, lineage, stewardship models).
• Proficiency in Java and Python for platform customisations and automation.
• Solid working knowledge of Linux environments (commands, logs, service management).
• Experience with REST APIs (DataHub, Collibra, integration endpoints).
• Strong command of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks (policies, controls, roles, stewardship, issue workflows).
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with ability to convey complex concepts simply.
• Experience with Git , versioning, and deployment processes.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in fund data, asset management, or the broader financial services sector.
• Exposure to enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines, Azure storage, Azure DevOps, or orchestration tools.
• Experience with metadata scanning tools or MDM initiatives.
• Knowledge of Collibra workflow development.
• Understanding of data security, classification, and access control models.
• Familiarity with Lineage standards (OpenLineage, Purview, Informatica, etc.).

The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division contributes to Euroclear’s competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that does not compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
