Data Engineer Tableau

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Data Engineer who will rebuild and enhance Tableau reporting on top of a harmonized Snowflake analytics layer and support continuous dashboard improvements. Key Responsibilities Replicate Tableau reports on the harmonized Snowflake data products and ensure functional equivalence with legacy reports. Iterate dashboards based on business review feedback and implement filters, drill‑downs, trend, variance, and status views. Add export functionality to dashboards and refine the Snowflake analytics layer for scoped pipelines. Implement smaller business requirement updates and develop DBT models according to team standards. Maintain GitLab version control for all code and apply naming and documentation standards. Keep report and data‑product documentation current and execute functional testing and KPI reconciliation. Document deltas between legacy and new reports and support UAT by fixing findings. Contribute to user documentation and onboarding materials. Qualifications 1+ year of professional experience as an IT/data analyst or BI developer. Tableau development skills including calculated fields, LODs, parameters, actions, and performance optimization. SQL proficiency with joins, window functions, and aggregation logic, and Snowflake experience as a primary analytics layer. Basic DBT knowledge and GitLab version‑control skills. Structured and detail‑oriented report replication skills. Polish and English language proficiency at a professional level. Nice to Have Manufacturing and Quality Control domain understanding. Legacy BI report migration experience. Agile delivery experience with JIRA or Monday. Data‑quality testing skills in analytics projects. Knowledge of the German language. Remote work arrangement with occasional visits to the Warsaw office.
