Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in Consumer Finance Service Domain (permanent position)

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer responsible for automating flows, building and maintaining strong regression suites to ensure product quality and usability. This position is offered under a full-time employment agreement.

About our team
Meet the Consumer Finance Service Domain team. Our role is to deliver value by providing a strong technology organisation that enables effortless, end‑to‑end digital customer journeys. We do this by enhancing Nordea’s credit card offerings and delivering convenient consumer lending solutions for our customers.
What you'll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Own the quality of the product by creating, running, and reporting automated functional and non-functional tests.
- Build and improve test automation scripts to make testing faster, more efficient, and more reliable.
- Drive strong test coverage across frontend, backend, and end-to-end user journeys.
- Be a quality champion by monitoring test results, investigating issues, fixing automation failures, and sharing clear insights that help the team deliver high-quality solutions.
Who you are

- A quality-driven engineer with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
- Proactive and structured, with the ability to identify risks and drive improvements independently.

- A technically capable engineer who likes challenges and have interest in the financial domain.
Your background and skills include:
- ISTQB Certified QA Engineer with 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and test automation.
- Experience with Java, Playwight with Typescript, Rest API’s, Kafka and Third party integrations.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to handle complex challenges.
- Excellent communication skills in English, comfortable with diverse audiences.
It would be ideal if you also brought:
- Experience in PEGA platform.
- Experience in banking (especially in Consumer financing products).
- Experience in mobile testing.
