Video Editor - Bumpy

Jam Studio is looking for a talented video editor to join our production team and help create engaging content for our story-driven gaming YouTube channel Bumpy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of YouTube, gaming, and internet culture and be able to use their video editing skills to turn a script, assets, and voiceovers into captivating and high-quality pieces of content. This position is fully remote and will function as a contractor with an hourly rate of $20-30 CAD.

As a video editor you'll be:

• Working closely with the writing team to turn scripts into action-packed videos.
• Taking existing environmental assets, character animations, SFX, and voice-over recording and turning them into highly polished videos with a focus on storytelling.
• Working with the leadership team to improve videos with a focus on viewer retention.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe products, specifically Premiere Pro & After Effects.
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
• Ability to create/use 3D environments using 2D assets.
• Creative mind and strong storytelling skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to take and deliver constructive feedback.
• A passion for YouTube, gaming, and internet culture.
