The Technology Specialist – Warehouse Management is part of the D&T Customer Service & Logistics Team (Supply Chain) and is one of the professionals who is supporting the Logistics Program to deliver the digitized solutions to our Business.
The Technology Specialist – Warehouse Management reports into the D&T Logistics Manager – Warehouse Management for Customer Services & Logistics and ensures that all IT services consumed by Users are delivered within agreed performance and satisfaction levels.
This role requires a solid understanding and practical experience in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC (SD, LE, MM) and Transportation Management (Oracle TM, SAP TM) systems.
Your responsibilities would include:
- developing capabilities within the team to embrace change and support the delivery of D&T strategic agenda
- ensuring a proper understanding of Business requirements and Capability needs, enabling E2E processes and seamless E2E Logistics processes
- creating / defining appropriate Solution design and enhancements adheres to functional and non-functional requirements, aligned to architectural standards
- ensuring identified gaps between business and technical requirements are addressed with appropriate recommendations / solutions, leveraging product standards and industry best practices
- ensuring quality and appropriate technical standards are met across the digital landscape / products, with relevant integration requirements and definitions
- Collaborating with relevant stakeholders, delivering the overall E2E vision to define the appropriate solution
- leading with innovation, participating in selection and introduction of new technologies to enable and support business application improvements
- monitoring and ensuring the quality of IT services, reducing technical debt and improving system / landscape resilience
- collaborating closely with system integrators and other suppliers enabling them to coordinate / communicate to third parties and being the driving force to support our teams in resolution.
You are a good candidate if you:
- have a Bachelor/Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or related SAP certification
- have experience in a similar role within a complex international environment with specific involvement with ERP-related Projects and Programs (SAP ERP, EWM, MM, SD, LE, TM) specifically in Customer Services & Logistics / Transport related modules / processes
- have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, within FMCG industry
- have experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation and working in private cloud environment
- have experience with implementation in EWM Functionalities, custom objects, enhancements (BADI/BAPI/Exits), RF Framework transactions, Warehouse Monitor, Clean core Development Principles and integration with TM and other 3rd party systems
- are a Subject Matter Expert in SAP EWM and have implementation experience of projects, experience in Strategy & Consulting
- have a strong understanding of EWM architecture, warehouse processes and technical design
- have the ability to conduct detailed technical impact analysis and provide precise effort estimations for enhancement, change request and rollouts
- have experience with Cloud / Clean Core development, including knowledge of the BTP, CAP Programming, use of (public) APIs, BTP Business Application Studio, etc
- have solid knowledge of E2E business processes in Supply Chain Management
- have the ability to lead, qualifying and quantifying decision making
- have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
- are a team player and you are able to work effectively at all levels of the organization
- have the ability to be analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured, a fast learner
- have the ability to work independently, taking ownership and lead when/where asked and needed
- have relevant certifications in logistics technology (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP EWM), these are considered a plus. ABAP Cloud Experience is a big plus
- have excellent written and verbal English skills.
