About the project, As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in the financial services industry. Your responsibilities, Support project teams in building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud systems aligned with HSBC’s business needs., Manage AWS accounts and operate key platform services to ensure performance and security standards are met., Collaborate with development teams to enable secure, efficient application launches and automation processes., Provide on-call support, troubleshoot incidents, and lead major incident investigations when necessary., Write clear, comprehensive documentation for technical and non-technical audiences., Assist in implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Git., Contribute to continuous improvement by automating operational tasks and refining deployment pipelines., Stay updated on cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance within a regulated environment.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering., Strong expertise in AWS, with practical knowledge of managing cloud accounts and services., Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or equivalent tech skills., Sound understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems., Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Git., Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and agile workflows., A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills., Demonstrable success in delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions.

Optional, AWS certification(s)., Advanced Terraform skills., Linux or Windows certifications., Experience in non-functional testing and risk management., Knowledge gained from working within highly regulated industries.
