About the project, At DSV, we keep global supply chains moving, and technology plays a key role in how we support our operations, customers, and people around the world., , We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our AI Language Systems team and help us design, build, and scale production-ready AI solutions. In this role, you will combine AI engineering, system design, and software engineering to turn complex business problems into reliable solutions based on Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP.

Your responsibilities, Design and develop complex AI and GenAI solutions, including LLM applications, RAG, NLP/NLU pipelines, tool-calling and agentic workflows, Own technical solutions from problem definition and architecture through implementation, deployment, and production, Define and develop evaluation frameworks to measure AI system quality and performance, Optimize solutions across quality, latency, cost, reliability, and scalability, Work with prompt optimization, retrieval, re-ranking, embeddings, caching, and model selection, Lead technical discovery and translate complex business requirements into practical AI solutions, Identify when AI provides real business value and when another approach may be more effective, Support and mentor other AI engineers through design discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing, Stay up to date with developments in LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, evaluation, and fine-tuning

5+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Applied Data Science, or a similar area, Hands-on experience developing and running LLM-based solutions in production, Strong Python and software engineering skills, including testing, CI/CD, version control, and observability, Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval and re-ranking, Practical knowledge of frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or DSPy, Experience designing and implementing AI evaluation frameworks, Experience optimizing production AI solutions for performance, cost, and reliability, Experience with tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or similar, Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly in English and work effectively in international, cross-functional teams, Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical work

Optional, Experience with Kedro, KServe and Kubernetes, Knowledge of AI security and governance in an enterprise environment, Experience in logistics, supply chain, or another complex operational environment
