DevOps Engineer (AWS / Terraform)

About the project, We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a project focused on building and migrating AWS infrastructure for two business-critical applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud environments, ensuring reliable deployments, scalability, security, and operational excellence. You will work closely with development and operations teams to drive infrastructure modernization and support the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions.

Your responsibilities, Develop, implement and maintain infrastructure as code for various environments., Develop and maintain configuration as code, supporting service delivery end to end., Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and scalability of applications., Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability., Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing new technologies and practices., Participate in the design and implementation of security measures to protect sensitive data.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field., Proven experience in DevOps, SysAdmin, or similar roles., Proficiency in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)., Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)., Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy, Go)., Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Optional, Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and log management solutions (ELK stack)., Understanding of network architecture and security best practices., Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning (SQL, NoSQL)., Certifications in cloud technologies or DevOps methodologies., Experience in a restricted, highly regulated environment (PCI)
