Paint Shop Planner Expert (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of the painting and corrosion protection processes for the NDA, taking into account the MAN Production System (MNPS)
• Ensuring robust and production-ready processes with a focus on quality, availability and cost-effectiveness
• Consideration of relevant environmental, permitting, occupational safety and media requirements, e.g. exhaust air, energy, water, chemicals, VOC and explosion protection
• Use of modern painting technologies as well as AI-based systems for process monitoring, quality forecasting and error prevention
• Technical coordination with plant suppliers, production and quality management
• Support for commissioning, series start-up and process releases
• Support of plant acceptances, process capability assessments, quality tests and ramp-up measures together with suppliers and internal departments
• After project completion: Assumption of painting processes and plant responsibility in series production at the Niepołomice site
• Continuous optimisation of processes based on process data, key figures and methods of the MAN production system

Our requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, surface technology or similar
• Experience in painting processes or industrial production plants
• Analytical, structured way of working and high quality awareness
• Teamwork
• Interest in digitalization, automation and data-driven production processes
• Knowledge of pre-treatment, paint supply, drying, corrosion protection, quality test methods or system acceptance is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Knowledge of German is an advantage
• Willingness to work for the long term at the Niepołomice site
