3D Printing & Technical Support Specialist – fixed term contract 12 months

Your responsibilities
- Execute daily fixture production using FDM 3D printing based on approved designs and instructions, ensuring good print quality and on time delivery to EMEA MASCs
- Handle day-to-day logistics related to fixture shipments, including preparing packages, basic documentation, and coordinating distribution to service locations across EMEA.
- Perform regular and preventive maintenance on FDM printers, including regular equipment calibration, material preparation and loading, basic troubleshooting, and supporting more complex repairs (e.g. with guidance or in cooperation with the equipment supplier)
- Ensure all maintenance activities, print records, and material‑usage tracking are documented in line with approved internal standards.
- Support onsite visits/audits at MASCs by checking how fixtures are used, stored, and maintained; help document observations during visit and follow up on action items
- Support improvement initiatives related to fixture design for ease of use, production and cost efficiency opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Service Engineering, and other teams to support ongoing 3D printing tasks and small improvements
Our requirements
- Technical diploma (or equivalent) in mechanics, electronics, manufacturing, or a related field
- Hands on experience operating a FDM 3D printer in a production environment
- Practical knowledge of common 3D printing materials like PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS and correct storage conditions.
- Experience performing routine to intermediate 3D Printer maintenance; troubleshooting and executing corrective repairs involving module level replacement
- Manual skills and interest in technical repair work (experience with electronics or smartphone repair is a plus)
- Ability to follow and create technical instructions, documentation, standardized processes including update the existing procedures
- Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite visits (mainly within Poland)
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in completing assigned tasks with high quality standards.
Optional
- General understanding or interest in tooling concepts used in electronics or device repair workflows.
- Basic understanding of CAD files and 3D Print preparation (e.g. slicing software)
- Interest in additive manufacturing technologies; experience with FDM printers. Hand-on experience with one of leading prosumer 3D Printer brands will be a plus.
- Working with multiple machines (e.g. in a lab or workshop) is beneficial; willingness to learn basics of maintenance tracking and workload prioritization
- Independent self-organize transportation to onsite locations; possession of a valid category B driving license and access to a personal means of transport would be considered an advantage
- Experience familiarity with Service Center workflow, repair operations, or manufacturing environments is a plus
- Exposure to audits or process checks is a plus (e.g. participation, support role); willingness to learn how to document findings in a structured way
- Understanding of continuous improvement concepts is a plus (e.g. efficiency, standardization, cost awareness)

This Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of fixture production and distribution for EMEA Motorola Authorized Service Centers (MASCs). The role focuses on executing manufacturing tasks, ensuring fixtures are produced and delivered on time, and directly operating and maintaining FDM 3D printing equipment. This includes performing basic corrective actions, preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment is ready for continuous operation. Additionally, this position is responsible for performing onsite audits at MASCs to validate compliance, quality standards, and adherence to established processes for product handling.
