For our client we are looking for candidates for the position of  Purchasing Manager (K/M).

The Purchasing Manager (K/M) will design, implement, and operate a complete purchasing workflow for a brownfield site. This includes ordering, receiving, inventory coordination, documentation, and compliance with operational standards

Job Tasks:
  • Purchasing System Design, Build and implement a full purchasing workflow for ordering, receiving, and documenting parts and materials
  • Operational Purchasing Execution, Manage day‑to‑day purchasing activities, ensuring timely and accurate order placement
  • Receiving & Verification Process, Create and enforce procedures for receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming goods
  • Brownfield Process Setup, Establish purchasing operations in an existing facility with limited initial structure
  • Documentation & Compliance, Maintain accurate records, purchase orders, delivery notes, and compliance documentation
  • Internal Stakeholder Coordination, Work closely with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
  • Inventory Control Support, Collaborate with warehouse teams to align purchasing with stock levels and consumption
  • Process Standardization, Develop SOPs, checklists, and control mechanisms for all purchasing activities
  • System & Tool Implementation, Select and implement tools or simple digital systems for ordering and tracking
  • KPI Tracking, Monitor operational metrics such as order accuracy, lead times, and receiving discrepancies
Requirements:
  • 7+ Experience in building purchasing systems in a brownfield or early‑stage operational environment
  • Fluent English is mandatory
  • Strong operational mindset, focus on execution, accuracy, and process discipline
  • Knowledge of purchasing workflows including ordering, receiving, and documentation
  • Familiarity with inventory processes and material flow in industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Ability to create SOPs and operational standards
  • Experience with ERP or purchasing tools (basic level; not a system administrator role)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and build processes from zero
