Developer Platform Engineer with API management

Must-have:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience .
• Strong coding skills in Java or Kotlin , including experience with modern application frameworks and solid API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major API gateway/management technology (e.g. AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, Kong or similar).
• A good understanding of API security , authentication/authorization, traffic management, and resilience.
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms , containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience building or contributing to a shared cloud platform, developer portal, or platform engineering capability.
• Excellent English skills (minimum B2+), with the ability to facilitate technical discussions and write concise decision documents.

Nice-to-have:

• A broad technical background that touches upon application development, networking, and security.
• Experience with advanced observability, service discovery, and automated operations.
• German language skills are a plus.
