Associate SOC Analyst (f/m/d)

Danaher seeks an entry-level Security Operations Center Analyst to monitor, triage, and escalate security events in a global enterprise environment. This 18-month fixed-term contract role operates 24/7 shifts (Panama schedule, hybrid) within the Threat Management Center, with opportunities for advancement into incident response and specialized cybersecurity disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts from multiple sources including phishing, malware, and endpoint threats
• Investigate and enrich alerts using available tools and playbooks; escalate incidents per defined procedures
• Document findings accurately in ticketing systems and maintain clear records
• Support incident response activities including containment actions under senior analyst guidance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and escalation procedures

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts including phishing, malware, and network threats
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across multiple teams
• Ability to follow established processes and work in structured environments
• Familiarity with endpoint, identity, email, cloud, or network security domains preferred
• Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or threat intelligence platforms preferred
