Business Analyst with German 100% Remote | Full-time | International Project Environment About the role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with German to join an international team delivering business and technology transformation initiatives. This role combines business analysis, process optimization, data management, and close collaboration with technical teams to drive innovative solutions. You will play a key role in translating business needs into functional and technical requirements, supporting agile delivery teams, and contributing to projects focused on customer data, data quality, and digital transformation. Key responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and transform them into clear functional and technical specifications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and product teams to design effective solutions. Support projects related to Customer Master Data Management and Data Quality Management. Create and manage user stories, use cases, process flows, and business documentation. Participate in process improvement and digitalization initiatives. Define, review, and validate business processes and project deliverables. Design and execute test scenarios, coordinate acceptance testing, and support defect management activities. Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution delivery. Support the implementation of modern software solutions based on microservices architectures. Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency improvements. Requirements Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Expert in IT-focused projects and business transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and requirements engineering. Experience working with Customer Master Data Management and/or Data Quality Management processes. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with development and architecture teams. Experience creating and managing user stories, business processes, and use cases. Hands-on experience in test preparation, test execution, and defect management. Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies (REST, Bruno, REST Assured, or similar). Understanding of modern software architectures, particularly microservices-based environments. Practical experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication abilities. Fluent German and English, both written and spoken. Nice to have Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. Knowledge of data governance, data migration, or data quality frameworks. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and integration platforms. Experience supporting digital transformation programs.
