About the project

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead and coordinate testing activities across Master Data Management projects and transformation initiatives.

This role combines strong testing and quality assurance expertise with practical experience in the SAP environment. You will establish consistent testing standards, coordinate SIT, UAT, regression and integration testing, and ensure that new solutions meet business requirements before production deployment.

You will work closely with business representatives, IT teams, Business Analysts, Global Process Owners and other stakeholders to improve solution quality, reduce deployment risks and strengthen testing maturity across MDM.

Your responsibilities

Testing strategy and governance

▪️Define and continuously improve the end-to-end testing strategy, standards, processes and documentation

▪️Establish the testing scope, approach, timeline, responsibilities and entry and exit criteria

▪️Ensure alignment between testing activities, project governance and delivery frameworks

▪️Define testing quality standards, KPIs and reporting mechanisms

▪️Drive a standardized testing approach across MDM initiatives

Test planning and execution

▪️Develop and manage detailed test plans and schedules

▪️Oversee the preparation of test cases and ensure adequate coverage of requirements

▪️Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression and integration testing across business and IT stakeholders

▪️Monitor testing progress, risks, issues and dependencies

Defect and quality management

▪️Oversee the complete defect lifecycle, including logging, prioritization, resolution, retesting and closure

▪️Escalate critical quality or delivery risks when required

▪️Support go-live readiness and hypercare activities

Stakeholder coordination

▪️Lead testing workshops, status meetings and alignment sessions

▪️Collaborate with Business Analysts, Global Process Owners, IT teams, GBS, countries and downstream system owners

▪️Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects and business sign-off

Continuous improvement

▪️Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools and frameworks

▪️Provide testing-related guidance or training to relevant business stakeholders

Our requirements

• Strong professional experience in software testing, quality assurance or test management
• Practical knowledge of the complete testing lifecycle, including SIT, UAT, regression and integration testing
• Proven experience leading or coordinating testing activities in complex projects or transformation programs
• Hands-on experience developing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases
• Experience managing defects, testing risks, quality issues and formal business sign-off
• Practical experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM or similar
• Experience working with SAP MDG, SAP ERP, SAP BW or comparable SAP solutions
• Understanding of SAP-based business processes, system integrations and data flows
• Experience working with data governance systems or data-driven environments
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
• Fluent English and the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
