Agentic Data Governance Specialist (AI&Data)

THE WORK:

• Develop governance approaches for modern Data & AI platforms, including federated governance and metadata management.  
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to embed governance principles into Data & AI solutions.  
• Support the design and implementation of semantic layers, business glossaries, taxonomies, and knowledge models.  
• Help define standards that connect business concepts with enterprise data to improve AI understanding and data discoverability.  
• Participate in client workshops, governance assessments, and AI governance initiatives, including Responsible AI and Agentic AI.  
• Translate business requirements into practical governance and semantic solutions. 
• Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. • Work with international clients on modern Data Governance, semantic technologies, and AI Governance initiatives.  
• Gain experience across advisory, delivery, and strategy while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.  
• Build expertise through enterprise-scale Data & AI transformation projects and governance challenges. 

• Experience with modern Data Governance and AI Governance practices.  
• Understanding of knowledge graphs, ontologies, and semantic concepts in enterprise AI environments.  
• Knowledge of federated governance, metadata management, and modern enterprise data ecosystems.  
• Familiarity with semantic layers, business glossaries, taxonomies, and knowledge modeling approaches.  
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift, and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, alongside a pragmatic and forward-thinking approach to governance in fast-changing organizations.  

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Familiarity with graph databases and their role in AI and semantic solutions.  
• Experience in consulting, solution shaping, or proposal development for Data & AI initiatives.  
• Experience with governance and data catalog tools such as Atlan, Collibra, Purview, or Alation.  
• Familiarity with semantic technologies, Responsible AI, and enterprise AI Governance frameworks.
