About the project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to design and build integrations between business systems in an enterprise environment. The role involves working on synchronous integrations as well as asynchronous communication based on message brokers.

If you have experience in API development, messaging platforms, and enjoy working on complex integration solutions, this role is for you.

Your responsibilities

• Design and build system integrations for complex enterprise environments.
• Develop and enhance REST API services.
• Implement solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Analyse data flows between systems and identify critical integration points.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot integration-related issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and solution architects.
• Participate in integration testing and support deployment activities.

Our requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on system integrations.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Proficient in Java and capable of debugging integration code.
• Strong understanding of XML and other data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, SOAP).
• Previous experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• English proficiency sufficient to read and work with technical documentation.

Optional

• Knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices development.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Insurance Suite.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Exposure to Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Background in the financial or insurance sector.
