Your responsibilities

• Install and commission ADB SAFEGATE systems, including electrical and electronic components and control technology, at customer sites.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.

• Carry out regular inspections and replace parts and components when required.

• Maintain and update technical documentation, including service reports and maintenance records.

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers on-site, by phone, and via email.

• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders while independently taking ownership of assigned tasks.

• Conduct on-site surveys and prepare technical reports.

• Represent ADB SAFEGATE professionally in all customer interactions.

Required qualifications

• A degree or professional qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable technical field.

• Hands-on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, electrical systems, automation, or a similar technical area.

• Confidence in using technical tools, measuring devices, test equipment, and diagnostic software.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and repair faults in electrical, electronic, and control systems.

• The ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Professional working proficiency in Polish and English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and international colleagues.

• Willingness to travel within Poland and occasionally internationally, including short-notice assignments. Some commissioning and service activities may take place outside standard working hours.

• A valid Category B driving licence and willingness to travel independently to customer sites.

• Ability to manage assigned service and commissioning tasks independently while collaborating effectively with international colleagues, customers, and partners.

• A proactive and responsible approach, with strong quality awareness, customer focus, and ownership of assigned tasks.

Optional

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Service Technician, or in a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Experience with airport systems, airfield lighting, industrial equipment, building technology, or other safety- or operationally critical systems.

• Practical knowledge of PLC systems, switchgear, control equipment, and industrial automation, for example Siemens, Beckhoff, or Allen-Bradley.

• Practical experience working with low- and/or medium-voltage equipment.

• Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

• Familiarity with networking, remote monitoring, or remote support tools.

• A relevant Polish electrical qualification, such as SEP/G1, appropriate to the assigned scope of work. Candidates who are eligible and willing to obtain the required qualification may also be considered.

• Knowledge of additional European languages.
