About the project

Your role

As a Release & Deployment Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, well-coordinated software releases across multiple teams. You will oversee the end-to-end release process, align deployments with business priorities, manage governance and compliance requirements, and keep stakeholders informed. Your work will help deliver reliable releases while driving continuous improvement across release and testing activities.

Your responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases in line with business priorities and dependencies.
• Act as the main point of contact for release-related activities across development, testing, operations, and business teams.
• Ensure release readiness, including testing, approvals, documentation, and deployment planning.
• Manage release governance in line with Change Management and ITIL processes.
• Coordinate with Change Managers, Service Owners, and technical teams to ensure successful and compliant production deployments.
• Communicate release status, risks, and potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement through post-release reviews and process optimization.
• Support testing activities across project teams.

Our requirements

• Fluent in English and German.
• You have experience coordinating and managing software releases in complex environments.
• You are confident working with cross-functional teams and engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
• You have knowledge of Change Management, release governance, and ITIL processes.
• You are skilled in planning, organizing, and prioritizing activities while managing dependencies and risks.
• You communicate clearly and effectively, adapting your message to both technical and business audiences.
• You have experience supporting testing activities and ensuring release readiness.
• You have worked with test strategies, testing methodologies, governance practices, or testing documentation.
• You are familiar with enterprise applications such as Microsoft Sentinel, FME, or similar platforms; experience in Test Management and IT Infrastructure environments is an advantage.
