Frontend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver new frontend features and bug fixes with a focus on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
• Design and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces and application state across platforms.
• Maintain code quality through coding standards, code reviews, modular design, and automated testing.
• Test, debug, and optimize complex frontend applications, including rendering and memory performance.

Requirements

• Proven production-scale experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong competency with state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar tools.
• Ability to write modular, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Experience testing and debugging complex frontend applications.
• Interest or experience with peer-to-peer technologies or distributed systems.
• Comfort working remotely with a globally distributed team and communicating effectively.
• Preferred: experience with Electron, Tauri, or similar desktop application runtimes.
• Preferred: familiarity with WebRTC, media streams, video/audio APIs, and real-time communication.
• Preferred: experience optimizing UI rendering and memory management and building applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or other platforms.
• Bonus: contributions to open-source projects, especially in P2P or decentralized technology.
