About the project, We are looking for Database Administrator to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our French clients.

Your responsibilities, Administer, maintain, and monitor Oracle, Cassandra, and MySQL database environments to ensure performance, availability, and reliability., Manage and support Oracle Exadata platforms and database infrastructure, including monitoring via Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)., Troubleshoot complex database issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions., Respond to critical incidents, ensuring rapid diagnosis, resolution, and service restoration., Perform database maintenance activities, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and capacity management., Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business applications and participate in on-call support when required.

Strong experience with Oracle Databases (9, 10, 11, 12, and 19)., Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata (X6, X7, X8, X9)., Good knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)., Experience in administering Cassandra 3.11 clusters and MySQL databases., Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills., Ability to act quickly and effectively during critical incidents., Availability to participate in an on-call rotation., French language proficiency at B2 level or above., Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams., Proactive and detail-oriented., Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively., Being open to working from the Katowice office at least 3 days per month and participating in an on-call support.
