About the role
As the Senior Analyst – Global Business Services RTR Intercompany, you will support accurate, timely, and policy‑compliant execution of intercompany accounting across the Record‑to‑Report (RTR) process.
You will prepare and validate intercompany billings/recharges, run confirmations, perform matching and reconciliations, and support eliminations for close.
Your day‑to‑day includes investigating variances, documenting dispute resolutions, assisting with netting and settlement preparation, maintaining audit‑ready workpapers, and tracking close calendar tasks. You will use ERP and reconciliation tools to reduce unmatched items, improve data integrity (e.g., trading partner and account mappings), and contribute to standardization and automation initiatives.
Your responsibilities
- Support intercompany accounting and reconciliation across the RTR process
- Prepare and validate intercompany billings/recharges, confirmations, and eliminations in line with policy and close timelines
- Perform intercompany matching and reconciliations; investigate variances and document resolution
- Assist with netting and settlement preparation, ensuring adherence to terms and controls
- Maintain audit‑ready documentation, standard workpapers, and evidence for intercompany activities
- Track KPIs and due dates; elevate risks and propose corrective actions
- Contribute to data quality improvements (trading partner data, FX/mark‑up settings, account mappings)
- Help standardize templates, workflows, and automation to improve efficiency and reduce aging
The experience we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in intercompany accounting, RTR/controllership, or related finance operations (shared services/global process exposure preferred)
- Working knowledge of intercompany flows: billings/recharges, confirmations, eliminations, and netting basics
- Awareness of transfer pricing and FX policy concepts as applied to intercompany transactions
- Proficiency with ERP and reconciliation tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine or similar) and strong Excel (lookups, pivots)
- Understanding of internal controls, audit readiness, and documentation discipline
- Analytical problem‑solving skills, high attention to detail, and reliable time management across recurring cycles
- Clear written and verbal communication for workpaper narratives and exception reporting
- Fluent English is a must & knowledge of other European languages would be a big advantage (especially French, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Hungarian, Italian, Dutch)
