Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake, AWS)

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support the design, development, and enhancement of our client’s enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on data engineer with strong experience building data pipelines, integrating data from operational databases, and working with modern cloud data warehouses. Responsibilities Build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and validation Design and develop data pipelines to ingest data from operational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and other OLTP systems) into Snowflake Develop scalable and performant data models in Snowflake. Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models to support analytics and downstream applications. Collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand data requirements Requirements 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience. Strong Python programming skills with experience building ETL/ELT pipelines. Solid SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling. Strong experience with Snowflake. Experience integrating data from OLTP databases, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) or similar layered data lake/lakehouse models. Excellent communication and collaboration skills Nice to have Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
