Senior Data Engineer with AI experience

PROJECT INFORMATION: Remote work: 100% Project language: English Business trips: once/year to Denmark Project length: 6 months contracts + prolongations (long-term cooperation on this specific project) Start: 03.08.2026 Assignment type: B2B Summary: The role of the Senior Data Engineer is critical for driving long-term growth and supporting the company’s shift towards climate neutrality by developing and maintaining industry-leading data platforms and products. The engineer will be responsible for enhancing the data infrastructure, thereby providing valuable insights that guide future improvements. Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining data pipelines to deliver value. Reviewing team members' code and providing constructive feedback. Communicating technical trade-offs to team members and architects. Writing effective documentation for processes and systems. Managing and reducing technical debt in the data systems. Must Haves: Strong experience in building scalable data platforms on Azure, preferably with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. Hands-on experience with production PySpark data pipelines. Experience with CI/CD and modern engineering practices. Ability to communicate proactively within a cross-functional team. Familiarity with AI tools used in daily development. Nice to Have: Interest in data science and machine learning.
