Your responsibilities

• Manage the annual CAPEX budgeting process and long-term investment planning in cooperation with Operations, Engineering, Production, Maintenance and Finance.

• Collect, challenge and consolidate investment requests based on capacity planning, business growth, technical requirements and operational risks.

• Coordinate investment approval documentation, including fixed asset requests and internal approval workflows.

• Monitor implementation of approved investment projects to ensure milestones, purchasing activities and equipment deliveries remain on schedule.

• Coordinate RFQs, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders with project owners and Procurement.

• Ensure compliance with corporate CAPEX governance, documentation and audit requirements.

• Track CAPEX spending against approved budgets and forecasts and proactively identify variances.

• Prepare financial analyses including ROI, NPV, IRR, payback period and business cases for investment decisions.

• Develop monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc management reports with meaningful insights and recommendations.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to remove project roadblocks and improve execution transparency.

• Partner with Group Finance and Investment teams to provide accurate forecasting and reporting.

• Drive continuous improvement of CAPEX processes, reporting and investment governance.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in CAPEX management, financial controlling, investment analysis or project controlling.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive or aerospace environments is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of capital budgeting, financial analysis and fixed asset management.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas); experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) is an advantage.

• Experience preparing business cases and supporting management decision-making.

• Very good English communication skills.

• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities

SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES POLAND based in Sędziszów Małopolski is a leading leader in the aviation industry market and one of the most dynamically developing companies from the Aviation Valley. The factory, which has been operating since 2017 and employs over 300 people, produces turbine blades for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.

In 2023, together with the French branch of Safran Aircraft Engines, a Research and Development Center was established in Rzeszów. Over 250 engineers will be employed here. In the newly established office, engineers will deal with various types of simulations relating to components of the entire aircraft engine.
