Your responsibilities

1. Integrated Media Activation & Performance

- Lead the development and execution of integrated media plans aligned with brand priorities and commercial objectives.

- Drive integrated activation across paid, owned, earned, advocacy and retail media channels, ensuring budget effectiveness, media excellence and scalable best practices.

- Lead digital activation across paid social, programmatic, search and retail media, optimizing channel mix and campaign performance.

- Develop locally relevant, insight-driven communications that reflect consumer needs, cultural nuances and competitive dynamics.

- Partner with agencies to optimize campaigns, track performance and translate media insights into actionable business recommendations, maximizing return on media investment and ensuring compliance with global brand guidelines.

2. Integrated Campaigns, Content & Advocacy

- Translate global brand platforms into locally relevant, integrated communication campaigns across channels and markets.

- Drive excellence and consistency across launches, hero campaigns, retail activations, content and advocacy programs.

- Lead influencer and advocacy strategies to strengthen brand relevance, engagement and consumer consideration.

- Partner with agencies and markets to deliver high-impact communications and scale best practices across the region.

3. Budget & Vendor Management

- Drive operational excellence and efficiency in managing regional budgets.

- Oversee agency and vendor relationships, including media agencies, influencer agencies and creative partners.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with local and regional marketing teams, e-commerce, Sales, Education and Corporate Communications to ensure aligned storytelling.

- Serve as the regional point of contact for global communications and brand teams, providing insights and representing the needs of the Eastern Europe.

- Lead capability-building sessions for markets on media strategy and digital best practices.

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to drive aligned execution.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Digital Marketing or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, media, social media and influencer marketing.
  • Experience within a digital-first brand, preferably in beauty, FMCG or lifestyle industries.
  • Strong track record in digital-first activation planning, including paid social, programmatic, search and retail media; regional media planning experience is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of social platform behavior, creator trends and social-first storytelling.
  • Understanding of the Eastern Europe cultural landscape, media ecosystems and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to translate global brand strategies into locally relevant market activations.
  • Experience working across multiple markets, stakeholders and agency partners in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business recommendations and continuous performance optimization.
  • Strong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the role

The Integrated Media & Communications Manager, Eastern Europe is responsible for leading integrated communications across the region, with a digital-first approach and a strong focus on media excellence and maximization of business impact.

The role owns media planning, digital activation and advocacy strategy, ensuring locally resonant storytelling that elevates Wella’s brand equity, drives consumer engagement and supports business growth across diverse markets.

This role collaborates closely with global communication teams, regional marketing, local market leadership and external agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns, consistent brand presence and measurable performance across the integrated media ecosystem.
