Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) offers a postdoctoral assistant professor position in its new CENTERA research unit . The role focuses on advanced nanotechnology device processing , THz spectroscopy , and low‑dimensional electron systems , with the National Laboratory CEZAMAT as the host facility.
Responsibilities
- Process nanotechnology devices and conduct experiments on low‑dimensional electron systems.
- Prepare manuscripts, research reports, and grant proposals.
- Collaborate with international research institutions and industry partners.
- Perform THz spectroscopy and other optical measurements (FTIR, TDS).
- Work with cryogenics and magnetic field experiments, including High Magnetic Fields and Free Electron Lasers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in nanotechnology, materials engineering, solid‑state physics, or a related discipline earned after 2020.
- Strong command of English (additional European languages a plus).
- Experience in nanodevice processing, low‑dimensional electron systems, and optical spectroscopy techniques.
- Familiarity with cryogenics and magnetic field experiments.
- Preferably experience with Free Electron Lasers, High Magnetic Fields, or similar high‑end infrastructure.
