Job Description

• Coordinating the collaboration with the external auditor and tax advisor: managing deadlines, providing required information, and safeguarding the quality of their output.
• Monthly delivery of financial reports to the Financial Controller in the Netherlands, including commentary on variances.
• Acting as the point of contact for finance colleagues in the Netherlands on questions regarding the Polish administration and financial results.
• Critically reviewing the work of the external bookkeeper and flagging discrepancies or risks.
• Performing financial analyses: cost analyses, variance analyses, production cost tracking, margin monitoring, and ad-hoc analyses at management's request.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in financial processes and reporting flows.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitoring cash flow, payments, and outstanding items in collaboration with the external bookkeeper.

The Successful Applicant

• A completed Bachelor's degree (licencjat or inżynier) or Master's degree (magister), preferably in Accounting (Rachunkowość), Finance & Controlling, Economics (Ekonomia), or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in a financial control or reporting role, preferably within an international or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent command of Polish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Dutch is certainly not required, but is a welcome bonus.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Comarch ERP or Microsoft Business Central is a clear advantage.
• Analytically strong: you identify patterns in financial data and can present findings clearly to colleagues at a distance.
• Hands‑on mindset: you work independently and move easily between detail and the bigger picture.
• Familiarity with Polish tax and accounting legislation (including CIT, VAT, ZUS, and JPK reporting).
• A proactive attitude towards process improvement and digitalisation.
