IT Analyst

We are looking for an IT Analyst to join the team of a leading Scandinavian bank and support the development of data-intensive IT solutions and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with stakeholders in a complex environment
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to clarify, analyze, and translate requirements into implementation specifications
• Understand the business purpose behind requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
• Perform data mapping, data modeling, and solution design
• Contribute to application architecture, solution design, and maintainability
• Design near real-time data pipelines
• Perform quantitative and statistical data analysis to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Work with complex and distributed datasets
• Prepare and maintain requirements documentation, including use cases
• Collaborate closely with developers and test engineers
• Work with multiple stakeholder groups and build effective relationships
• Promote best practices and data-driven ways of working
• Support the adoption of AI solutions, including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic solutions

Ideal candidate profile

• Proven experience as an IT Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in data-intensive environments
• Hands-on experience in the banking industry
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation and analysis
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
• Excellent SQL skills, including Snowflake and MS SQL Server
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Experience with AI solutions, including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic solutions
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, Microservices, and Clean Code
• Experience with scalable data products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience working with international stakeholders and multicultural teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Conditions

• Work model: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
• Preferred locations: Gdańsk/ Gdynia/ Warsaw
• Rate: 110–130 PLN/h (B2B)
• Start: ASAP
