Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain accessible Power BI reports, dashboards and reporting outputs for corporate impact KPIs
• Develop robust Power Query transformations, semantic data models, relationships, calculations and DAX measures
• Clean, process and model quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources, including survey responses and stakeholder feedback
• Develop data-quality checks, validation rules, exception reporting and reconciliations to improve accuracy, completeness and consistency
• Apply agreed KPI definitions, calculation logic, metadata, ownership and governance controls within reporting solutions
• Integrate reporting processes with SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Forms and Power Automate, supporting automation of repeatable reporting activities
• Work with the Business Analyst and stakeholders to understand reporting questions, translate requirements into useful visualisations and iterate solutions through feedback
• Support testing, deployment, access management, refresh monitoring, issue resolution and transition into business-as-usual support
• Produce clear technical documentation, data dictionaries, report specifications, test evidence, user guidance and handover materials
• Contribute analytical evidence to the stakeholder and organisational engagement data discovery and future investment roadmap

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience developing Power BI solutions, including Power Query, DAX, data modelling and visualisation
• Experience connecting and preparing data from SharePoint and Microsoft 365 sources, and working with Teams, Microsoft Forms and Power Automate
• Experience cleaning, processing and modelling a range of quantitative and qualitative data, including survey responses
• Practical understanding of data governance, data quality assurance, validation, reconciliation and controlled reporting
• Ability to analyse business processes and translate stakeholder needs into clear, usable reporting and insight products
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving and technical documentation skills
• Experience developing, testing, deploying and supporting repeatable reporting solutions rather than producing one-off dashboards
• Fluent English
