Senior Structural Engineer

For one of our clients – a global engineering and consulting company with Canadian roots – we are currently looking for candidates for the Senior Structural Engineer position to support international projects. The organization has a strong hub in Katowice and delivers projects across industries such as energy, infrastructure, and natural resources. The company combines engineering expertise with a modern approach to data and technology, offering work in a truly international environment.

Your new role :

• Perform structural and strength calculations for industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations

• Resolve technical problems related to project execution

• Prepare technical and design documentation

• Work on projects at various stages of development: concept, basic design, and detailed design

• Collaborate with assistants, engineers from other disciplines, project management, clients, and suppliers

• Participate in project and coordination meetings

What you'll need to succeed :

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role 

• Higher education degree in civil engineering or a related field 

• Valid professional license (unlimited) in structural and civil engineering 

• Advanced knowledge of applicable construction regulations and Eurocode standards 

• Ability to work independently in design tasks 

• Strong teamwork skills 

• Effective communication skills in English 

• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g. Robot Structural Analysis) 

• Responsibility for assigned tasks, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring high-quality documentation

• Ability to identify technical solutions and apply modern industry practices to deliver the best outcomes for clients 

• Excellent communication skills
