The Business Services Center in Poland is based in Wrocław and employs over 100 professionals supporting the business in areas such as finance, master data, procurement, IT, and project management.

The Master Data Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management, governance, quality and operational delivery of enterprise master data processes. The role combines operational leadership with governance ownership, SAP expertise, continuous improvement, stakeholder management and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Operations
- Lead master data processes across Material, Customer and Vendor domains.
- Ensure SLA compliance, data accuracy and operational excellence.
- Support issue resolution, escalations and business continuity.
Data Governance & Quality
- Define and maintain data governance standards, policies and controls.
- Drive data quality improvements, root cause analysis and remediation activities.
- Ensure compliance with audit, SOX and internal control requirements.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Own and enhance master data processes and related systems.
- Collaborate with IT on SAP, MDG and workflow improvements.
- Drive standardisation, automation and process efficiency initiatives.
Projects & Transformation
- Lead master data projects, migrations and governance initiatives.
- Support ERP deployments, testing, cutover and organisational changes.
- Ensure data readiness for transformation programmes.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Master Data professionals.
- Manage priorities across operations, projects and governance activities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.
Key skills
- 7+ years of experience in Master Data Management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Material, Customer and Vendor Master Data processes .
- Experience working within Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS) or multinational environments.
- Good knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP MDG ; experience with ServiceNow, EWM or workflow tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, audit controls, approval workflows and process documentation.
- Proven people leadership, stakeholder management and project delivery experience.
- Experience in SAP MDG implementations, SAP S/4HANA migrations, process automation or master data transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication and continuous improvement mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems or a related field.
