Business Development Specialist- Food & Pharma Market

Your responsibilities

• Developing sales activities within the food and pharmaceutical markets across the assigned territory: Central, Eastern, and Southern Poland (Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, Łódzkie, Lubelskie, Świętokrzyskie, Śląskie, Małopolskie, Podkarpackie) to achieve target growth and client acquisition.
• Identifying customer needs and prospecting potential clients
• Understanding and promoting the technical offer to prospective and existing clients
• Developing and tailoring technical solutions based on client requirements
• Conducting trials of proposed technologies (on-site at client facilities or at Air Liquide innovation centers)
• Supervising implemented solutions from a technical standpoint and conducting client audits
• Implementing new technologies and applications in the Polish market
• Promoting Air Liquide's brand image within the food and pharmaceutical sectors
• Authoring press publications and articles for food industry trade magazines
• Preparing for and actively participating in conferences, seminars, and industry trade shows
• Continuously broadening technical expertise, market knowledge, competitor offerings, and application development

Our requirements

• Master's degree in Food Technology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Keen interest in food and pharmaceutical technologies
• Good command of spoken and written English and fluent Polish
• Readiness for frequent travel across Poland (including overnight stays)
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented with strong priority management skills
• Strong relationship-building skills, customer focus, and the ability to anticipate client needs
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
