About the project

We are searching for Software Test Engineer with a background in Electronics and Telecommunications studies, with a specific focus on consumer electronics products (smartphones and wearable products). The ideal candidate will have experience in testing and troubleshooting consumer mobile electronics, including knowledge of testing theory and practices. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of introduction of new consumer electronics devices to the market, as well as solving consumers problems.

Your responsibilities

• Testing applications and system functions for latest Huawei mobile and wearable devices.
• Finding application issues, gathering application and system logs (crashes, performance logs, power consumption logs, stability logs, network protocol logs).
• Troubleshooting user problems, including functions, applications and interoperability.
• Timely managing tests and issues in Testing workspace
• Preparing issue presentations when necessary.

Our requirements

• Graduate from Electronics / Telecommunication and similar studies
• At least 2 years of experience in Testing, including testing on mobile devices / wearables
• Good knowledge of features of mobile and wearable operating systems like Android, wearOS, iOS, watchOS.
• Knowledge of mobile device’s wireless technologies, multimedia, codecs and use cases.
• Experience in system/application troubleshooting, including obtaining logs, and Android debugging interface.
• Understanding of features of wearable and smart appliance devices.
• Understanding of sensors usage for fitness functions.
• Knowledge of the EU market for mobile devices, wearables and smart appliances.
• Understanding of IMS and OTT call functions.
• Professional and clear issue description and reporting.
• Focusing on getting tasks done and timely reporting.
• Ability to work in English language environment (min. B2 level)

Optional

• Basic scripting skills in Python would be an asset.
