Senior SAP FI Consultant with German

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

We are looking fora Senior SAP FICO Consultant with German to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team to navigate clients through IT transformation journeys by implementation cutting‑edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players.

The opportunity

As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in implementation of SAP systems in Record to Report areas.

Key responsibilities

• You’ll be helping clients to successfully go through IT transformations in order to implement new solutions offered by SAP, i.e.: S/4HANA, RE‑FX.
• You will be asked to support clients in greenfield and brownfield implementations using various methodologies i.e. Agile. Your responsibility will also be to manage the quality of implementation projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• German language skills at a minimum B2 level (communicative).
• Solid knowledge and experience in at least one FICO area – FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting), CO (Overhead Controlling, Margin Analysis, Product Costing).
• Experience in standard project tasks: Fit‑Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training.
• At least one full cycle implementation experience.
• End‑to‑end business processes.
• Good accounting knowledge.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Strive for Continuous Improvement and Growth.
• Project Stream and Team Lead experience.
• Experience in data migration.
• Readiness to participate in SAP Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
• Hands‑on approach to collaborating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
• Willingness to report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post‑implementation review.
• Practical, hands‑on expertise in designing, testing, and implementing SAP solutions – from workshops and pilots to proof‑of‑concepts and deployment of new or improved system features.
