Your responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing engineering activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept phase to handover to series production.
  • Define and optimize manufacturing processes, including process flow, workstation concepts, layouts and equipment requirements for new products.
  • Prepare and maintain production documentation for new products (process descriptions, work instructions, routings, operation times).
  • Participate in product design reviews (DFM/DFA) and provide manufacturability feedback to R&D and project teams.
  • Plan and execute trials, prototypes and pilot builds; analyse results and define corrective actions.
  • Prepare and update PFMEAs, control plans and inspection concepts for new products in cooperation with Quality.
  • Define and implement necessary tools, jigs and fixtures for new products in cooperation with Tooling and external suppliers.
  • Support ramp-up of new products on the shop floor and secure stable processes in terms of safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Our requirements

  • University degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical, production, mechatronics or similar).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, process engineering or NPI role in a production environment.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods (e.g. machining, welding, assembly or similar, depending on product portfolio).
  • Experience in industrialization of new products or process changes, including preparation of production documentation.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and 3D models; experience with CAD and/or PLM systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with basic quality tools and methods (PFMEA, control plans, capability studies, problem solving).
  • Structured and analytical way of working; ability to manage several tasks and projects in parallel.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively with Production, Quality, R&D and Project Management.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
