Print Technologist / Offset Printer / Flexographic Printer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor Heidelberg XL106 offset printing presses (6 colours with coating unit) or flexographic/offset web printing presses (10 colours with die-cutting)
• Ensure consistently high print quality
• Monitor production processes to achieve productivity and quality targets
• Ensure production and delivery deadlines are met
• Maintain production and quality documentation
• Carry out maintenance and cleaning of printing presses in accordance with the maintenance schedule
• Produce printed products on carton board, paper, plastic and self-adhesive materials

Our requirements

• Completed training as a Print Technologist / Printer or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in offset or flexographic printing
• Experience operating multi-colour printing presses (6–10 colours)
• Experience in packaging or label production is an advantage
• Knowledge of printing press maintenance and care
• High level of reliability, quality awareness and resilience
• Willingness to work shifts
• Basic English skills are essential, as an English test is required for the work visa
• Valid driver’s licence required

• Total remuneration of AUD 140,000–160,000 per year, including overtime

Working hours

We operate a 12-hour shift system:

• 4 day shifts (6:00 am – 6:00 pm) + 1 day shift (6:00 am – 2:00 pm),

or

• 4 night shifts per week (6:00 pm – 6:00 am)
