3D Printing & Technical Support Specialist (EMEA)

Your responsibilities

  • Perform daily fixture production using FDM 3D printing, following approved designs and work instructions. This includes preparing the printers and materials, starting and monitoring print jobs, validating print quality
  • Perform the day-to-day activities required for fixture shipments, including packing completed fixtures, preparing basic shipment documentation, and arranging their dispatch to service locations across EMEA.
  • Perform regular and preventive maintenance on FDM printers, including equipment calibration, basic troubleshooting, and hands-on support for more complex repairs when required, with guidance from or in cooperation with the equipment supplier.
  • Maintain regular records of performed activities, including completed print jobs, produced fixtures, printer maintenance and calibration, material usage, identified equipment issues, troubleshooting activities, and corrective actions performed, in accordance with approved internal standards.
  • Perform onsite process verification by working directly with Service Partners at dedicated locatio to verify adherence to established repair and fixture-related processes, identify process non-compliance areas, document findings, and suggest practical improvements.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support, Service Engineering, and other internal teams to maximize the use of FDM 3D printing, identifying new opportunities for in-house manufacturing of service tools and fixtures, and suggesting practical improvements in fixture design, manufacturability, usability, production efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

Our requirements

  • Technical diploma or equivalent technical background in mechanics, electronics, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Good practical and manual skills, with the ability to perform hands-on technical tasks, operate equipment, and follow defined technical instructions and quality standards.
  • Good organizational and self-management skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize daily activities, proactively identify tasks to be completed, maintain accurate records, and help ensure available equipment is used efficiently.
  • Regular onsite availability at the local office is required due to the hands-on and equipment-based nature of the role.

Optional

  • Basic experience or familiarity with technical environments, such as manufacturing, repair, workshop, or service operations.
  • Interest in 3D printing or additive manufacturing, including personal or hobby experience, is considered an advantage. Previous hands-on experience with FDM 3D printers is welcome but not required.
  • Interest in process improvement and quality, with willingness to identify process gaps, document observations, and suggest practical improvements.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for Service Partner visits within Poland or EMEA. A valid Category B driving license and ability to independently arrange transportation for onsite visits are considered an advantage.

Job Description

This Technical Support Specialist will be personally responsible for in-house manufacturing of service tools using FDM 3D printing and their distribution to EMEA Motorola Authorized Service Centers (MASCs). The role includes operating and maintaining 3D printing equipment to ensure efficient and continuous tool production.

The position will also be responsible for verifying Service Partner compliance with established repair processes and quality standards, including onsite audits at MASCs and follow-up on identified process gaps.
