Your responsibilities
- Coordinate timely responses to queries from Customers, Customer Care, 3PLs and Production Operations using the Supply Chain Cockpit Process.
- Manage domestic and international route bookings, ensuring sufficient lead time for customer arrangements.
- Maintain system master data (e.g., transit times, pallet calculations) to assist efficient execution of all logistics activities.
- Update On Time in Full (OTIF) performance reporting and track corrective actions.
- Communicate delivery discrepancies as they occur and report potential service failures once identified.
- Ensure delivery creation and communication to carriers is completed on time and aligned with customer and site requirements.
- Coordinate shipment documentation and freight costing processes to ensure accurate carrier invoicing and prevent delays to customer billing.
- Oversee Special Transport Delivery processes while minimising associated costs.
- Assist with managing Customer OTIF failures and contribute to Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
- Assist Supply & Production Planning when parts are missing for orders within the production plan release process, including assisting with express haulage requests.
- Manage OpenText Accounts Payable queries, investigate disputes, and be accountable for denying, approving, or requesting credits relating to Freight Invoicing.
- Assist with managing non‑conformances in SAP and identify tech/non‑tech issues, investigate and create RCCAs, escalate where required, close out Delivery Non‑Conformances, and maintain the feedback loop within the complaints management process.
- Assist continuous improvement initiatives for Transport Planning and cost‑reduction activities.
- Assist the Quality team with investigations.
Our requirements
- At least 7 years of solid experience in payroll, ideally within outsourced, shared service or complex organizational environments
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, team development and performance management
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and social security regulations
- Confident handling of payroll systems and advanced Excel skills
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a completed commercial qualification with relevant professional experience; payroll certification will be a plus
- Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
- Strong service and customer orientation with a clear commitment to quality and reliability
- Ability to actively listen, lead with empathy and support team members in a constructive and respectful way
- Strong analytical thinking to assess complex payroll topics, risks and impacts
- Solution‑oriented and improvement‑driven mindset when optimizing processes and collaboration

About the role:
The Transport Planner is responsible for transport planning within the supply chain function at a centralised level. This role involves close collaboration with the Central Transport Planning Manager, Material Planning Team, Supply Planning Team, External Freight Partners, Customers, and cross‑functional operations teams for the plants in scope of the centralised team. The Transport Planner ensures that MCO actions are completed and committed outputs are delivered on time and in full.
We're looking for candidates who are available to start immediately or at short notice.
The first three months of the probation period will be office‑based, followed by 10 days per month in the office.
