Profile: ServiceNow Architect (ServiceNow platform, design, architecture) - Level Advanced.

Securiy Clearance: Is required (security screening procedure must be initiated within first 45 days of assignment) - CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL.

Place of performance: Frontex Headquarters - On-site service provision - intramuros 20% + extramuros 80%.

Travel: Not foreseen.

Duration of the mission: 50 months.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum education level: Level 4.
  • Minimum English language skills (CEFR): C1.
  • Minimum IT relevant professional experience: 8 years.
  • Minimum experience at similar position: 3 years.
  • Required certificates: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate or equivalent.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge

  • Excellent practical hands‑on experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions (experience with on‑prem will be advantageous).
  • Excellent practical hands‑on experience administering and maintaining ServiceNow platform will be advantageous.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of ServiceNow products portfolio.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of Service Management.
  • Excellent practical hands‑on experience using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation including technical design documents.
  • Knowledge of key technologies for ServiceNow integration (Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST, etc.).
  • Well understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability.
  • Knowledge of IT security standards.

ServiceNow platform architecture design

  • Setting standards in scope of design, development, quality and testing.
  • Designing and communicating platform architecture.
  • Designing interoperability and interfaces with other systems.
  • Designing development of organizational wide service management capabilities.
  • Transferring business, users and technical needs into architectures.
  • Mapping business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features.
  • Preparing system documentation and provides presentations.
  • Selecting and evaluating technologies.
  • Collecting and interpreting system metrics.
  • Optimizing system from performance, security and quality points of view.

ServiceNow platform related business analysis

  • Assessing internal customers’ expectations related with the use of ServiceNow platform.
  • Gathering, analysing and assessing business needs and users’ requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into optimal technical solutions.
  • Ensuring that proposed solutions are in line with business requirements and architecture design.
  • Presenting proposed technical solutions to different types of audience.

Supporting ServiceNow platform project management

  • Supervising implementation of organizational wide service management capabilities based on ServiceNow.
  • Supervising ServiceNow development and improvement projects in close cooperation with ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Developers.

ServiceNow platform improvements

  • Providing recommendations to business requirements and technical designs.
  • Supporting ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Developers in designing of solution architecture and development.
  • Supporting other teams in risk management, disaster recovery, security management, etc.
  • Maintaining up to date solution documentation including technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, knowledge base articles etc.
  • Other specific duties as assigned by team leader.
