Your responsibilities

• Upon joining our team of passionate aerospace experts, you will be responsible for both formal management of the team, development of the business/responsibilities within the newly created Research & Development Center as well as ensuring technical support and growth of the competences within the team. You will participate in creation of R&D Center strategy that includes, but is not limited to, Software, Hardware, Quality Management System, Financial processes, Roadmap for undertaking new responsibilities, Knowledge Capitalization System.
• Full accountability for agreeing the projects, defining deadlines, tracking and reporting work progress in direct contact with international teams
• Supervise, track and report progress of activities and projects within the team
• Together with leadership team continue to develop the Research & Development Center by agreeing new responsibilities, supporting interview process, digitalizing workload and project management tools and other
• Create friendly, professional and partner-relations focused working environment by deployment of best practices and highest ethical standards

Our requirements

• Language: English, C1
• Master degree in engineering
• Teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude and decision-making skills
• Ability of technical drawing interpretation
• In-depth understanding of the Theory of Elasticity, Fatigue Strength and related challenges
• Previous professional experience as a design engineer / mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industry
• Both strong technical and management skills
• Ability to empower and motivate people
• Strategic thinking

Optional

• Language: French
• Catia V5 experience
• Design and GD&T experience will be considered a plus
• Previous FEA Software experience
• Knowledge of design and operation of aircraft engine
