About the project

We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Data Engineer to join a modern data & AI engineering environment focused on building scalable data platforms and advanced analytics solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, architectural ownership, and working with modern cloud-native technologies.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud-based data platforms
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines
• Develop solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, and Airflow
• Optimize SQL performance and large-scale data processing workflows
• Drive DataOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
• Implement data quality, monitoring, and observability frameworks
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, AI, and Product teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers within the team

Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
• Strong Python and PySpark skills
• Experience with dbt and Airflow
• Solid understanding of AWS/GCP and Terraform
• Experience building production-grade data platforms end-to-end
• Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 is a strong plus

Optional

• Experience working in AI/ML environments
• Familiarity with Great Expectations, Cosmos, or Iceberg
• Experience with near real-time or streaming architectures
