About the project

Senior Business Analyst will support the analysis, design, and modernization of the HR Enterprise Service Portal landscape. The objective is to establish a modern, centralized entry platform based on SAP Fiori Launchpad that consolidates employee and business processes, ensures accessibility compliance, and enables agile delivery practices.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops in German to elicit, refine, and validate business requirements for a centralized SAP Fiori Launchpad portal.
• Translate business needs into clear requirement specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation roadmaps.
• Define future-state solution concepts and drive design decisions in collaboration with architects, developers, testers, and project managers.
• Support migration of legacy HR portal applications to SAP Fiori / SAP UI5, including WebDynpro-to-UI5 migration initiatives.
• Model and optimize business processes using BPMN, EPK, UML or OOA techniques and ensure alignment with target architecture.
• Work within Agile frameworks (Scrum / SAFe), contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and use Jira and Confluence for documentation and task management.
• Define and verify quality criteria, acceptance tests, and compliance requirements, including accessibility regulations.
• Act as the interface between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure timely and feasible delivery of solutions.
• Contribute to change management and adoption activities during portal transformation efforts.

Our requirements

• Fluent German (mandatory) and proficiency in English for technical and cross-functional collaboration.
• Extensive experience in requirements engineering, requirements management, and business analysis at a senior level.
• Proven experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad, SAP UI5, and application modernization projects.
• Practical experience with WebDynpro-to-UI5 migration is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, including experience engaging with German-speaking business and IT teams.
• Solid background in business process modelling (BPMN, EPK), UML or OOA, and solution design principles.
• Understanding of software engineering, software architecture, quality management, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / SAFe) and using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with enterprise portal transformation, process optimization, and change activities.
• Familiarity with accessibility requirements and enterprise governance frameworks (for example ITIL or V-Model XT) is a plus.
• Relevant tertiary education or equivalent professional experience in information systems, computer science, business analysis, or a related discipline.
