Senior Java Consultant

Must have

• 4-5 yeras of commercial experience in Java development (Java 8, 11, 17 or newer).
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern software delivery processes.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Practical experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with Kafka Streams.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Understanding of JVM performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience building high-performance or real-time systems.
• Domain knowledge in finance, trading, or capital markets.
