The last few years have seen a significant increase in the importance of digital in the Commerce space at Heineken. HEINEKEN’s digital solutions are a vital component in protecting and growing the company's revenue. To ensure that this trend is supported the Commerce DevOps Hub has been established. This newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with engineering the software which powers e-Commerce. The Commerce DevOps Hub location is in Kraków, Poland.

As the Lead Solution Engineer , you will be part of the SEM Platform team, composed mostly of Senior Solution Engineers and architects, configuring, developing, implementing and integrating solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics. You will need to understand the business needs, helping Product Architect(s) and Product Owner(s) to convert those needs into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall standards and roadmaps. You help to build technical strategy and ensure alignment with both architecture and business objectives.

You will be driving excellence in solution engineering practices to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the solutions development lifecycle in our Commerce IT landscape, fostering a culture of technical creativity and staying ahead of technology trends.

You provide expert guidance and ensure alignment with architecture and business objectives and ensure on-time delivery. You drive the end-to-end operations of the platforms, keeping them streamlined, structured, and within service level agreements. You collaborate closely with other DevOps teams for efficient development pipelines. You will work directly with the Product Owner(s) and Product Architect(s), understanding the business needs and translating them into specifications and services in line with overall engineering standards and roadmaps. You serve as a key contributor in refining and driving excellence in solution engineering practices to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle in our Commerce landscape.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • designing, configuring, developing and delivering IT solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics and Azure technology stack
  • customising, configuring and engineering solutions jointly with the team
  • integrating solutions with other Heineken systems and data sources to ensure seamless data flow and process automation
  • ensuring and guiding the team to adhere to solution standards and architectural guidelines
  • participating in recruitment activities, onboarding, mentoring and developing engineering talent while fostering a culture of learning, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • overseeing and resolving immediate technical challenges
  • coordinating solution development and addressing technical debt within the team, acting as the go-to person for technical decisions and problem-solving
  • collaborating with Dev Leads, Product Owner(s) and the Engineering Manager to ensure the team maintains a stable workload and an appropriately sized backlog
  • participating in cross-functional discussions and representing the domain in broader technical discussions across domains
  • proactively taking ownership of technical responsibilities and collaborating closely with in-house development teams, Pen Test vendors and other technical partners to resolve challenges and drive successful outcomes
  • creating and maintaining processes for documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure ongoing support and facilitate effective knowledge sharing, while ensuring resources remain up to date and easily accessible.

You are a good candidate if you have:

  • about 8 years of working experience in a relevant field
  • hands‑on experience and in-depth knowledge of mandatory technologies
  • experience in rolling out global solutions operating across multiple markets
  • proven ability to work with teams of engineers with varying levels of experience

Technology Stack & Software Development Background:

Mandatory to know:

  • proven enterprise experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM
  • strong knowledge of Dynamics customisation and configuration, including workflows, plugins, entities/tables, relationships, forms, views and dashboards
  • experience in solution architecture and integration with other enterprise systems
  • proficiency in Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) for creating custom applications and automating processes within the Dynamics ecosystem
  • experience with API integrations, including REST, SOAP and Web API
  • experience working with Azure components, including Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus and related services
  • familiarity with SQL and database management, including querying data and understanding database structures
  • understanding of data security best practices for handling sensitive data and managing access control
  • strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, KISS and DRY principles
  • proficiency in version control systems

Good to know:

  • familiar with GraphQL
  • NOSQL databases
  • Power Platform Advance Features.
  • Containers and Virtualization: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies can be helpful for deploying and managing applications
  • Power BI: For reporting and data visualization, often integrated into solutions for dashboards and analytics
  • familiarity withAzure servicesand integrations, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps
  • knowledge ofSQL Server, SSRS, and reporting toolsrelated to Microsoft Dynamics
  • exposure todata migration toolsand techniques within the Dynamics environment
  • familiarity withsecurity best practicesand compliance requirements within enterprise applications
  • familiar with SAP / Salesforce
  • ETL Tools: Familiarity with data extraction and transformation tools, which is especially useful in environments with multiple data sources.
  • Cloud Services: Understanding of cloud platforms such asMicrosoft Azure,AWS, orGoogle Cloud, especially for SaaS applications.
  • GDPR and Compliance: Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance standards is especially important in highly regulated industries.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with tools such asJira,Asana, orTrellofor tracking progress and managing tasks.

You are a perfect match if you also have:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications (e.g., Functional Consultant, Solution Architect, Developer).
